Even before its official unveiling, glimpses of the Aston Martin DB11’s successor left enthusiasts in awe. Now, the anticipation is finally over as Aston Martin reveals the all-new DB12, marking a new era for the esteemed automaker. With significantly increased power, enhanced dynamics, and elevated comfort levels, this magnificent vehicle is poised to captivate the senses.
The Aston Martin DB12 boldly announces its presence, exuding confidence and leaving an indelible impression. With the capability to accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in a blistering 3,5 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h, this Super Tourer showcases its best-in-class potency.
Powering the DB12 is a hand-built 4,0-litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG, masterfully tuned by Aston Martin engineers to produce an astonishing 500 kW of power at 6 000 r/min and a torque of 800 N.m between 2 750-6 000 r/min. This represents a remarkable 34% increase compared to its predecessor, the outgoing DB11 which employed V12 power.
Aston Martin’s dedication to excellence is evident in the meticulous modifications made to the V8 engine, enhancing its performance capabilities. These include revised cam profiles, optimized compression ratios, larger diameter turbochargers, and an extensively redesigned cooling system featuring two additional auxiliary coolers alongside the primary radiator.

Embracing innovation, the DB12 is the first DB model to incorporate an electronic rear differential, capable of transitioning from fully locked to fully open within milliseconds. This remarkable powertrain is complemented by an eight-speed automatic transmission, ensuring seamless and precise gear changes.
Harnessing the immense power at its disposal, the DB12 boasts an upgraded suspension system to cope with the increased forces. Aston Martin introduces its next-generation adaptive dampers and stiffer anti-roll bars, allowing for enhanced agility and control.
